Ages 10.5 to 14

Jump in and get muddy. Give back and get set.

Scouts ignore the butterflies and go for it, and soon so will you. You’ll learn how to solve problems at your own pace, see things from the other side, and will always have a Plan B (and C!).

Scouts will show you that you’re more than you think, and will help you to take the little steps that have big results.

Have Adventures

Real adventures start small, but think big. They happen when ordinary people get together and do  something extra-ordinary. For us, that’s every Monday Night at the Scout Hall.

We question and listen and form wide open minds. We take a deep breath and speak up.
We think on our feet. See the big picture. Ignore the butterflies and go for it

Being a Scout

We do it all at Scouts. From canoeing to climbing, from hiking to biking. We do art, both on paper and in nature. We travel the world, meet Scouts from other countries and have an impact in our communities. We camp all year round, sleep under the stars, and survive in the wild. We learn how to look after ourselves and our kit, and how to get back up and give it another go.

You don’t need a uniform to be a Scout. However, once you’ve completed challenges and earned awards, you’ll need somewhere to put them!
